I'll dominate 'serious boxer' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-bout fight which will be broadcast in real-time on the streaming platform.

Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the pair met personally to promote the upcoming bout.

Former two-time world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge mismatch - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.

Boxer's Attitude

"I plan to damage his features and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, stated.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.

"I intend to genuinely try to injure him. That's my intention."

Respectful Interaction

In spite of such comments, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually known for his showmanship - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.

Jake Paul instead attacked ex Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "a joke" after Ngannou turned down a bout proposal.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, targeted UK rival Tyson Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a victory for Paul.

"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he's present here," the boxer stated.

"I acknowledge that."

Legitimate Opponent

Despite declaring he will damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his rival's pugilistic talent.

"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.

Jake Paul's History

Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.

He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.

Financial Success

Still, the novice remains one of boxing's greatest money-making draws, frequently receiving huge earnings.

Forecast and Confidence

The 28 year old anticipated a stoppage in round four or five and claimed he would derail the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly under discussion for 2026.

"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.

Physical Difference

As Joshua and Paul engaged in the customary stare-down, with their height and weight contrast on show, it drove home just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is truly happening.
